New Advanced Energy Manufacturing Tax Credit Starting in 2025
A new Advanced Energy Equipment Income Tax Credit was signed into law last month that offsets up to 20% of the costs of equipment (up to a maximum $25 million per project and capped at $25 million per year) for qualified solar energy, wind energy, battery manufacturing, and rare earth element manufacturers. The credit is effective Jan. 1, 2025 through the end of 2032.
