The NMN digital platform allows you to control the message and the audience you want to reach. NMN provides you the chance to target your message based on geographic region, statewide, bloggers, newspaper reporters, television reporters and more.

The NMN “media list” includes New Mexico-based reporters, editors and publishers. Media are located in Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Las Cruces, Farmington, Las Vegas, Taos, Clovis, Silver City, Gallup and many other areas around our state. The NMN database is powered by The Garrity Group Public Relations.

Currently we only accept news releases in English.

Submitting a news release is easy. Before you submit, be sure you have the following elements of your news release developed: headline, sub headline, contact name, email and phone number, a website landing page where reporters and editors can get additional information, images that help to tell your message in a visual platform, and, of course the news release with approximately 400 words. Please visit our Submit a New Release page and follow the directions to complete your submission.

As you consider the information you want to include in the news release, we invite you to review our editorial guidelines for best practices on how to craft a compelling news release.

Yes, our editorial team reviews each news release and approves based on our Editorial Guidelines. If your news release requires additional information and/or edits to become compliant we will let you know. You will only pay once the news release is approved and before it is distributed through NMN. Please remember to review our Editorial Guidelines to avoid any delays in distribution. We reserve the right to modify submissions and/or reject them if they don’t meet our editorial guidelines.

Our editorial team reviews releases no later than within 24 hours of submission and payment. If you have a release that is time sensitive, please plan accordingly. If you have a news release that needs priority access, please reach out to us through news@garritypr.com and/or through the website for pricing information.

You will receive an email confirmation once your release has been distributed. Please check your spam folder and remember to add news@garritypr.com to your whitelist.

Your release will remain on NM Newswire for one year. The NMN service is distribution of your news release, it is hosted on the website as a courtesy.

Yes, you may use the same release. However, we suggest you modify the headline and the content slightly so that it doesn’t look like duplicate content to search engines.

News releases are approved by the client before they are distributed/posted to the NMN website. You may submit edited information (i.e. typo) to update the online version once within a week of distribution; however, an updated news release being sent through NMN will be considered as a new news release and billed accordingly. Edits that the editorial team considers to be substantive will be billed accordingly.

Yes, during the submission process there are form fields allowing you to include media. You are permitted and encouraged to upload a company logo with your release. Additional form fields prompt you to include external links to images, video or audio. Please note that we only accept links – we do not allow you to upload media to our platform. If you have a larger file you’d like to include, please provide a link to a DropBox, sharpoint or other industry recognized cloud-based storage website.

Yes, during the submission process there is a form field allowing you to include either a Word Document or a PDF version of your release. We recommend PDF.

We ask for the following information during the submission process: Company Name Media Contact First and Last Name Email Address Phone Number Social Media links (optional)

Yes, each submission includes an area for a link at the bottom of the news release.

No, we do not allow rich-text formatting. To ensure smooth distribution, we opt to keep formatting to a minimum.
