Balloon Fiesta Partners with Local Nonprofits to Strengthen Community Ties

Albuquerque, NM – The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, powered by ExxonMobil, set to launch October 5-13, 2024, will work with six New Mexico nonprofit organizations and national entities  for the 52^nd event. This effort underscores Balloon Fiesta’s commitment to community engagement and social responsibility while enhancing the experience for event attendees. 

Throughout the event, Balloon Fiesta visitors will have the opportunity to interact with representatives from the following organizations:

• New Mexico Make A Wish Foundation
• Friends of NM Fisher House
• United States Air Force Academy
• Habitat for Humanity by RV Care-A-Vanners
• Toys for Tots
• City of Albuquerque Victim Service Alliance

Event guests are encouraged to visit these booths, located at the South End of Main Street across from the Ballon Fiesta souvenir tent, to learn more about each organization’s mission and how they can get involved. These collaborative efforts continue Balloon Fiesta’s ongoing efforts provide organizations an opportunity to share their mission with its guests, giving back to the community that continues to support Balloon Fiesta for more than five decades.
