Farmington, NM – Get ready to leash up your pup and head to Animas Park for a tail-wagging good time! The City of Farmington invites the community to Bark in the Park on Saturday, April 26, a fun and free event supporting the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter.
The day kicks off with the Doggie Dash at 10:00 a.m., where dogs and their humans can run, romp, or stroll along a scenic 2-mile loop in Animas Park. Pre-registration is required to receive a free event t-shirt and is open now through April 18 at 5:00 p.m. at farmingtonnm.gov/register (listed under “Special Trips & Events”). T-shirts must be picked up on event day between 8:30 and 9:45 a.m.
On-site registration will be available from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m., but will not include a t-shirt. Additional shirts will be available for purchase throughout the day, while supplies last.
Following the Doggie Dash, join us for Bark in the Park from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., featuring:
· Local vendors and pet-friendly products
· Games and activities for all ages
· The crowd-favorite Adoptable Pet Parade – meet your new best friend & take advantage of a special adoption rate!
