Bonnie Raitt Returns with Band Headlining Tour – Joined by Members of Longtime Touring Band

Bonnie Raitt is heading back out on tour just months after being recognized for her lifetime of artistic achievements as part of the Kennedy Center’s 47th Class of Honorees in Washington, DC this December. Raitt and her world-class band will headline theaters around the country performing songs from her enduring catalog.  Raitt’s vigorous tour has taken her across the U.S. and Canada with stops overseas in Australia, England, Ireland and Scotland, since the release of her critically acclaimed, three-time GRAMMY Award-winning studio album, Just Like That… in 2022.

The tour will make a stop in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Kiva Auditorium on Saturday, March 8th, 2025. Tickets will go on sale to the public Friday, November 22 at 10 a.m. MT at Ticketmaster.com.

Raitt made an unexpected splash in music industry headlines last month when English singer-songwriter Charli XCX via her collaborator Justin Vernon sampled and interpolated “Nick of Time,” the title track from Raitt’s 1989 release that earned the GRAMMY Award for Album of the Year. The new track “I think about it all the time featuring bon iver” is included on Charli’s new remix album, Brat and It’s Completely Different But Also Still Brat, and whose message about “running out of time” has resonated with younger generations just as it did for Raitt’s contemporaries 35 years ago. “Well, luckily, there are people like Charli and Justin who are drawn to my music,” Raitt says. “When I started, I was idolizing my heroes like Sippie Wallace, Muddy Waters, and Judy Collins, and now I get to be appreciated like they were. I’ll take it, and wear it with pride.”

ABOUT BONNIE RAITT

Bonnie Raitt is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist whose unique style blends blues, R&B, rock, and pop. After 20 years as a cult favorite, she broke through to the top in the early 90s with her GRAMMY-award-winning albums, Nick of Time and Luck of the Draw, which featured hits, “Something To Talk About” and “I Can’t Make You Love Me” among others. ABOUT DANNY ZELISKO PRESENTS

Danny Zelisko began promoting shows in Arizona, in 1974, as a 19-year-old transplant from Chicago. He soon founded the legendary concert promotion firm, Evening Star Productions, making the southwest a viable stop on most tours, producing thousands of shows over the years in Arizona, Las Vegas and New Mexico and eventually, all over the USA. Danny proudly partnered Grateful Dead shows with Bill Graham Presents in Phoenix and Las Vegas in the 80s and 90s, which helped transform this area of the country into a concert hotbed that benefitted from this vision, to this day.
