Freedom Celebration to Welcome Thousands for Family-Friendly Festival at State Fairgrounds June 28

ALBUQUERQUE — Love NM announces the return of Freedom Celebration—New Mexico’s free, festival-style event celebrating freedom, on Saturday, June 28, at Expo New Mexico. Gates open at 4 pm.

This citywide event is free and open to the public. For the first time, Freedom Celebration will be held at Expo NM’s State Fairgrounds, accommodating thousands of expected attendees. Love NM’s family-friendly outreach celebrates America’s unique promise of liberty and the lasting freedom found only through faith in Jesus Christ.

Event Highlights:

• Features a Kids’ Fun Zone, a car show, extreme sports demos by riders from Nitro Circus, and dinner from food trucks.
• Live music starts at 5:30 pm, featuring Jeremy Camp, Passion, Jordan Feliz, and Calvary MSC.
• Pastor Skip Heitzig will share a message about true freedom and hope.
• Guests will enjoy one of the city’s best fireworks displays.

“Freedom Celebration is a time to gather with our community and celebrate the freedom we enjoy as Americans—and the lifechanging spiritual freedom we have through Jesus Christ,” said Love NM Director Mat Pirolo.

Parking Information:

• Parking is available for $10 per car
• For General Parking, please use Expo New Mexico Gate 8 to enter from Louisiana Blvd. For ADA Parking, please use Gates 1 to enter from Central Ave, and Gate 3 to enter from San Pedro Dr.

• Guests are encouraged to bring chairs.
• Outside food and glass containers are not permitted.
