Albuquerque, NM- New Mexico-based, HATCH CHILE CO. (HCC) has recently completed two strategic acquisitions and is looking to expand its product line with additional acquisitions. The company announced that it is incorporating the ZIA GREEN CHILE CO. (ZIA) and SANTA FE BEAN CO. (SANTA FE) into its successful brand portfolio.
In late 2021, HCC purchased the ZIA company with its premium line of ZIA branded green chile products manufactured in Las Cruces, New Mexico. HCC plans to grow sales and expand distribution by offering ZIA products to Hatch Chile Co.’s supermarket and grocery customers located across the United States. In March 2022, HCC completed the purchase of the SANTA FE company located in El Paso, Texas. SANTA FE has a product line of dehydrated refried and black bean products in foil pouches. Hatch Chile Co. plans to expand Santa Fe sales and product line.
