Homebuilders Pulte Homes and D.R. Horton to Celebrate Grand Opening of Residences in Esencia de Santa Fe 

SANTA FE, N.M. – Santa Fe Land Development Partners (SFLDP) is pleased to announce the upcoming grand opening, via homebuilders Pulte Homes and D.R. Horton, of residences in Esencia de Santa Fe – a new 277-acre, master-planned community on June 27, 2026.

This grand opening marks the first opportunity for homebuyers to tour model homes and explore floor plans in one of Santa Fe’s newest master-planned communities. The event will feature giveaways, family activities, food and other vendors. Event information can be found at esenciadesantafe.com.

In the first quarter of 2025, SFLDP sold two parcels – representing more than one-third of Esencia’s planned homesites – to Pulte Homes and D.R. Horton. The builders are preparing to welcome prospective buyers to tour new model homes, meet sales teams and learn about available homesites and timelines for move-in beginning mid-2026.

Esencia de Santa Fe, developed by SFLDP, was approved for 710 homes, including market-rate, affordable and multifamily options. Pulte Homes, building 78 homes, and D.R. Horton, building 102 homes, represent a major milestone for the project.

In addition to new housing options, SFLDP is investing more than $14 million in critical infrastructure improvements, including expansion of Avenida del Sur and construction of a two-mile sewer outfall to the Quill Waste-Water Treatment Plant to support long-term regional growth.
