New, Unique Camping Experience Makes its way to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta®

Albuquerque, NM– The Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta is announcing Camp 505 as a new lodging experience available to guests. Camp 505 is a camping village of 30 tents, located within walking distance to Balloon Fiesta Park and includes a Balloon Fiesta-branded camp kit that guests can take with them when they leave.

The camp kit includes a Balloon Fiesta-branded, two-person tent, two sleeping bags, two sleep pads, a large saddle blanket and a camp light. Additionally, as part of the Camp 505 package guests receive admission to the event, premium parking, an on-site commissary for additional supplies, two complimentary refillable water bottles and a hospitality area with firepits and games. Sleeping arrangements are set up prior to the guests’ arrival.

“Balloon Fiesta is always looking for ways to create a sense of community,” said Sam Parks, Balloon Fiesta Executive Director. “Camp 505 is something that does just that. Those who appreciate camping and want to immerse themselves in the event, can enjoy the facilities and be around others who are doing the same.”  

Camp 505 will be located at the baseball fields approximately 800 yards from the Balloon Fiesta Park entrance and right next to the glamping village. Guests will have 24-hour security, access to portable toilets with handwashing stations, access to filtered water, and access to a phone charging station. Shower facilities will be available for purchase located at the Planet Fitness, .45 miles from Camp 505.

Reservations on sale April 7 and are $800 for a 3-night stay for two people.
